EQUAL FLEXX Internal Tire Balancing for Commercial Tires
IMI EQUAL FLEXX is an adaptive, internal balancing solution that reduces fuel and tire costs by reducing vibration from the wheel-end. FLEXX consists of a soft, dual compound known as Dual Force Active Balancing Technology. When any road force creates a change at the tire’s footprint, FLEXX Dual Force particles respond by absorbing energy and vibrations, keeping tires in optimum contact with the road’s surface at all times—delivering the longest, most even tire wear available.
Less vibration means less wear and tear on the truck, reduced rolling resistance, increased fuel economy, and longer tire life—and using FLEXX in all wheel positions will multiply fuel savings. EQUAL FLEXX is available in a drop-in bag for quick application.
Hunter & Coats Computer Wheel Balancing
McCarthy Tire only uses the finest computer wheel balancers from Hunter and Coats to ensure a smooth ride and excellent performance.
Out-of-balance tires will cause a vehicle to vibrate at certain speeds, usually between 50 and 70 miles per hour. A tire is out of balance when one section of the tire is heavier than the others. One ounce of imbalance on a front tire is enough to cause a noticeable vibration in the steering wheel at about 60 miles per hour.
McCarthy’s technicians are experts at balancing tires – see McCarthy Tire today to get your balance done right! Here is what we do: To balance a wheel, the technician will mount it on a balancing machine which spins the wheel to locate the heavier part. He will then compensate for the heavy part by attaching a lead weight on the opposite side. Our customers are often pleasantly surprised at how smooth their car drives after balancing all four wheels.
