Technology Set Up


Welcome to your call center agent training course! Before you dive into the world of exceptional customer service, let’s get you set up with the essential tech tools you’ll need to excel. This course outlines 12 simple steps to ensure your computer and software are configured for success. Once you’ve completed each step, be sure to mark it complete. If you encounter any technical difficulties along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out to your manager for assistance. Let’s get started and equip you for success!

STEP 1: Download Microsoft Authenticator onto your laptop and smart phone and follow set-up instructions.

STEP 2: Download Outlook onto your phone. Your email is your first initial, last

STEP 3: Download app (from Microsoft store) or locate TEAMS onto your laptop and phone.

STEP 4: In TEAMS, locate the STORE INVENTORY APP. Go to Inventory, Inventory App.

STEP 5: In TEAMS, locate the STORE LIST APP. Go to McCarthy Tire Public, General, Store List App.

STEP 6: In TEAMS, locate CALL CENTER RESOURCES. Go to McCarthy Tire Public, General, Marketing, Files, Call Center

STEP 7: Visit our Website and find a tire shop nearest you. Save URL

STEP 8: Download Zoom App from Microsoft Store and Log into desktop App with your McCarthy Tire email address. Save URL.

STEP 9: Log into REACH with MTS email (password: welcome123). Save URL.

STEP 10: Set up your TIMECLOCK. Log in and save URL. Company: mccarthy Login ID: Your employee ID Password: Your employee ID (change 1st time). Download BLUE FORCE mobile app to your phone.

STEP 11: Go to our CREDIT CARD site. Save URL and Log in. Username: mtscallcenter Password: callcenter01

STEP 12: EMAIL SIGNATURE: Every teammate with McCarthy Tire must include their corporate email signature as part of their email communications on both desktop and mobile devices. Your email signature is important for three reasons: 1. It is a digital business card that gives the recipient all your contact information in one block. 2. It positions you as part of McCarthy Tire Service, building trust and credibility. 3. It promotes brand awareness for our company.  Look for instructions in your email inbox.

Once you’ve completed all 12 steps, mark this course complete, confirming that all resources have been identified, downloaded, logged into, saved etc – and you’re ready to continue onto the next course.
