We’re excited to announce 3 Operations Management Promotions.
Mike Sharp, location manager for our Allentown and Trainer tire shops has accepted a promotion to Regional Operations Manager (ROM) for the following locations: Wilkes Barre, Dickson City, Hazleton, Allentown, Williamsport, Reading, Lancaster, Harrisburg and Blairsville. Mike has been a member of the McCarthy team for nearly his entire career and has proven himself to be a strong leader, navigating many challenges along the way. At age 20 he started as a road service tech and since then he has nearly worked every position within the company. That well rounded knowledge of the job and his passion and dedication to the company made Mike a great fit for the Regional Operations role.
We are also pleased to announce the promotion of two other strong teammates to the position of Location Manager. Matthew Mackaravicz has accepted the position in the Allentown shop. He has served as the Service Manager in the Allentown store for many years. Mike indicates that, “Matt is one of the most organized managers and is meticulous about his work product. Matt is very deserving of the opportunity and no doubt will be successful, I am lucky to have him as part of my management team.”
Guillermo “Gee” Pazo has been selected to take the location management position in the Trainer shop. Guillermo has been with McCarthy Tire since 2017 working his way up to Service Manager in the Trainer location. Mike states that, “I have used Gee to move into many roles that I needed help with, each time he stepped up to the challenge and got the job done. He is a great multitasker and a great selection to the role.”
Joe Doyle, COO states that “these moves strengthen our management team in Pennsylvania, and we look forward to their contributions to our success. We are confident that the promotions will advance each location to achieve our aggressive goals in the state.”
