Tips for Forestry or Ag Tire Warranty Claims

Tips for Forestry or Ag Tire Warranty Claims

To process a forestry or ag tire warranty claim, you will need to:

  1. Check your warranty coverage. Different tire manufacturers and models have different warranty terms, so it’s important to read your warranty carefully to understand what is and is not covered. You can usually find your warranty information on the manufacturer’s website or in the paperwork that came with your tires.
  2. Determine if your claim is eligible. Most tire warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship, but they typically exclude things like normal wear and tear, misuse, and damage caused by accidents or vandalism.
  3. Gather the required documentation. This will typically include a copy of your proof of purchase, a copy of your warranty information, and photos of the damaged tire.
  4. Complete & submit a form. Once you’ve gathered your information, simply complete and submit a tire warranty claim form with McCarthy Tire Service and we’ll facilitate the claim process with the tire manufacturer for you.

Here are some additional tips for processing a forestry or ag tire warranty claim:

  • Be prepared to answer questions about how the tire was used and maintained. The dealer will need to know this information to determine if the tire was properly cared for and if the damage is covered under their tire warranty.
  • Be patient. It may take some time for the dealer to process your claim and get you a replacement tire.

Here are some common reasons why forestry or ag tire warranty claims may be denied:

  • The tire was not properly maintained. This includes things like not inflating the tire to the correct pressure, not inspecting the tire for damage regularly, and not replacing the tire when it is worn out.
  • The tire was misused. This includes things like overloading the tire, operating the tire at excessive speeds, and using the tire in conditions that it is not designed for.
  • The tire was damaged by an accident or vandalism.

If your tire warranty claim is denied, you may have the option to purchase a replacement tire at a discounted price. You may also be able to file a claim with your insurance company, depending on your coverage.
